Welcome

Experience the elegance of the County's oldest inn, located in beautiful Waupoos, Prince Edward County. Built in 1838 by Richard Hayes, Hayes Tavern, as it was then known, began sheltering travellers to the County almost 175 years ago.

Enjoy complimentary afternoon refreshments and homemade baking in our garden patio or a late night drink in the library.

Use the Inn as a home-base to explore everything the County has to offer including wineries, fabulous restaurants, local food and produce, cycling, the arts, the County's renowned beaches and more.  At the end of a busy (or not-so busy) day you can spend a quiet night relaxing in your room watching a movie selected from our collection of complimentary DVDs or just enjoying a night-cap on the patio while gazing at the stars.
